Crucial to the success of this step is the shape and size of the handrail which should be such that it may be readily grasped.  Many are beginning to see the logic of taking this into consideration for use by the very young and those aging and those having to transport packages up and down the steps.  I have developed and implemented several simple add-ons which I will be glad to share when you call me to plan your next project.
